Antoine Pupin is a Partner of Compass Advisers Group based in New York.
Mr. Pupin began his career in the aerospace industry, working for Airbus, SEP, Aerospatiale and Lagardere-Matra, and subsequently was a strategic and corporate finance advisor to prominent international groups such as Fairchild Corp, L-3 Communications, Thales, Zodiac, Alcatel, EADS, and Safran, based in France, Canada, Australia, and the USA.
He worked for ten years in London, as an investment banker for the EBRD, Hambros, Salomon Brothers, and BNP Paribas, and for eleven years as a private equity funds investor as Vice President of Presbourg and as Managing Partner of 21 Partners, focused on majority equity investments in global companies. In addition to his specialist aerospace, security and aviation sector involvements, Mr. Pupin advised, invested in, and chaired or co-chaired a number of companies in diversified sectors, notably in the media, communications, computer hardware and software, oil and gas, retail, real estate, logistics, packaging, banking, insurance, asset management, entertainment, safety and health sectors.
Mr. Pupin graduated as an aerospace engineer from ISAE/SupAero, received his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management as a Rotary Foundation Scholar, and completed specialist executive programs in operations, strategy, and negotiations from Harvard and MIT.
He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, GC CEO Forum, ISAE/SupAero American and European Aerospace Executive Clubs, and of the Automobile Club de France.
